When the bets are done, players have a showdown to determine who has the best poker hand. The highest-ranked poker hand wins the pot. However, even a bad poker hand can win if bluffing skills are employed.
Omaha poker is a game that is very much about the cards you’re dealt, but it still has a good amount of room for strategy. After the initial round of betting, three cards are dealt to the table for all players to share. This is called the flop. A fourth card is then dealt, which is known as the turn. Finally, a fifth card is dealt as the river. This is followed by another round of betting. Players then show their hands and the highest-ranked poker hand wins.
